Sometimes God must first empty our hearts before He can truly fill them.
We hold on to temporary things—pain, pride, fear, worldly desires, broken dreams, and the things this world tells us are valuable. Yet none of these can satisfy the deep thirst of the soul. The more we cling to what fades, the less room we leave for what lasts forever.
God calls us to surrender. To pour out the temporary so He can pour in His eternal peace, wisdom, love, and purpose. What the world gives is momentary, but what God gives transforms the soul forever. His presence fills every empty place with light, every wound with healing, and every burden with strength.
Just like the overflowing jar in this image, when we allow God to fill us, His blessings do not stop with us—they overflow into the lives of others. His grace becomes visible in our words, our actions, and our faith journey.
Empty yourself of what is temporary, so God can fill you with what is eternal.
What you surrender today, God can replace with something far greater tomorrow.
