Who is Jesus Christ?
*1. His Coming* – Prophecy fulfilled
_Isaiah 7:14_ – _“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.”_
700 years before He was born, God promised a Savior would come. Born in Bethlehem, around 4 BC, to Mary. God became man to dwell with us.
*2. His Life* – Love in action
For about 30 years He lived quietly, then 3 years He walked, healed, taught, and showed us the Father’s heart.
_John 1:14_ – _“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory.”_
He fed the hungry, healed the sick, set captives free. No one ever spoke like Him.
*3. His Death* – The sacrifice
_John 3:16_ – _“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son...”_
On the cross at Calvary, Jesus took our sin, sickness, and shame. He died so we could live.
*4. His Victory* – The resurrection
_Matthew 28:6_ – _“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.”_
The grave couldn’t hold Him. On the 3rd day He rose! Death is defeated. Hope is alive.
*5. His Return* – The promise
_Acts 1:11_ – _“This same Jesus... will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”_
He’s coming back for His church. That’s us, Shalom!
Jesus’ story isn’t just history. It’s our story. Because He lived, died, and rose again — we have forgiveness, healing, and eternal life today.
